Hello NEW classroom bloggers,

This is Mrs. Jessica Walker, I teach 6th grade Science at Centre Middle School. I have decided to create a blog for the students and also for the parents. My students and I have been talking about a way to involve parents within the classroom and we thought by creating a blog would be a way parents could see how  well the students are learning and what they are learning in Science class. I am looking forward to seeing how well this all goes. I will be sending out a note next week concerning this blog site, whether or not you would give permission for your child to be writing, pictures, and videos posted on this site.(The pictures and videos will be projects that we will work on in class.) I plan on making this blog site private, but I will need email addresses so I can invite you in so you are able to visit the classroom blog. I think this will make you see how well your child is doing in Science class. Also, I will have a student a week to get publish a "post". I think this will boost the students ambition to make better grades and to participate in class. I look forward to seeing and hearing from you soon. Have a great week. :)
